Biography
Dr. Shallaw A Mohammed is a distinguished scholar specializing in Energy Security and Diplomacy. He earned his MA in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio in 2015, followed by a PhD in Politics and International Relations from Soran University, Hawler in 2020. His academic credentials are complemented by specialized training in Public Policy and Governance from The Hague Academy for Local Governance, Netherlands in 2018.
Currently serving as a Assist. Pro. at the Department of Diplomacy and International Relations at Salahaddin University-Erbil, Dr. Mohammed holds several key leadership positions within the institution. He chairs the High Consultancy Committee at the University Presidency and directs the Cultural and Social Center. Beyond his academic responsibilities, he works as an independent analyst for various think tanks in Iraqi Kurdistan, focusing on regional security dynamics and energy diplomacy.
